| Collier's began when Linda moved
to Wilmington in 1981. After six years in Europe, a major love of wine led
to the realization that there was a need for a fine wine shop. Linda created
the bill that allows wine to be tasted in shops so that wine afficionadoes
would have the ability to experience new and exciting wines. The wine school,
which still exists, was opened shortly thereafter, offering public and private
classes that help people feel more comfortable with wine. Collier's of Centreville
has an exceptional selection of fine wine and specializes in discovering
and promoting wines from around the world that offer good quality and exceptional
