BACK TO SCHOOL FALL/WINTER UPCOMING CLASSES
All classes are $50 per person and run from 6 - 8 p.m. There will be at least six wines
plus cheese and crackers and a speaker to guide you through the wines.

What difference does Terroir make? We will find out by comparing beautiful wines from
different soils.
November 6 (Thursday) – Experience the Heel, Toe, and Ankle of Italy's Boot
A great region of fantastic wines.
November 18 (Tuesday) – Blind Tasting
How good are your nose and palette? A prize will go to the most correct answers
December 2 (Tuesday) – Classically Cool
The six classic grapes shown off at their best: Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Chardonnay,
Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet
December 17 (Wednesday) – Pajama Holiday Wine Tasting
Great wines to give or served during the holiday. Wear your PJs and get 20% rather
than 10% off your purchases for the night. Must be real PJs, not sweats.
January 7 (Wednesday) – Woman in Wine
Only 4% globally are woman owned although California is 10 - 14% and Italy 25%. This
is changing, as the majority of students in oenology classes are now woman. See
what incredible wines are being produced by these entrepreneurial ladies.
January 21 (Wednesday) – Pinot Noir Around the World
One of the most difficult and expensive grapes to produce which makes the most
complex and beautiful of all wines.
January 29 (Thursday) – South of France along the Mediterranean
Languedoc-Roussillon and Provence
February 10 (Tuesday) – Wines for Valentines
Be they two legged or four, friend or family - a day to feel love for someone and enjoy a
great bottle of wine, perfect for the occasion.
